Installation Technical Requirements for PVC Flooring
Cut the PVC board to shape according to the requirements of the frame drawings.
Lay the PVC flooring on the frame:
If the floor is in contact with the parallel surface of the vehicle body, ensure the contact surface is horizontal, smooth and free of protrusions.
If the floor is in vertical contact with the vehicle body, ensure the contact surface is vertical.
Pre-drill holes at the required fixing positions using a 5 mm drill bit.
Fasten with 6 mm self-tapping screws. Use high-quality, corrosion-resistant screws, preferably self-tapping countersunk screws.
Seal the joints of the PVC flooring with putty:
Screw spacing at joints: 150–300 mm
Screw spacing at non-joint areas: 300–400 mm
Distance from screws to the floor edge: no less than 10 mm
When designing the frame, the frame span shall be less than 350×350 mm.
If one side is less than 300 mm, the other side shall not exceed 500 mm.
