Integrated Floating Independent Instrument Head
With the technological development of new energy buses in China, intelligent assisted driving and autonomous driving technologies are advancing rapidly. Domestic bus customers have put forward more advanced and sophisticated requirements for bus instruments and CAN bus.
Against this background, combined with our company’s existing R&D and production capabilities of environmentally friendly and lightweight PU foam instrument consoles, we have developed a floating independent instrument head product for buses.
◆ Product Advantages
Humanized design & excellent ergonomics
The relative position between the instrument panel and the steering gear is fixed, and the whole assembly can be adjusted vertically in angle and forward/backward in position. It can adapt to drivers of different heights and body types.
Modular parts
The instrument head for installing meters is independently designed as a standard module for direct optional installation by different customers. Only the bottom console body needs to be customized according to the customer’s body frame, which can shorten the development cycle and reduce mold development costs.
Functional integration
Various functional units previously scattered in the driver’s cabin are integrated into a one-piece instrument console.
At present, it integrates the bus CAN bus instrument, main instrument console, steering wheel, steering column, left and right combination switches, and other functions.
In addition, automotive ADAS (including 360° panoramic view, driver fatigue monitoring system, and other intelligent driving assistance systems) can be optionally installed, facilitating mechanical installation and wiring harness connection for bus manufacturers.
Technical support for unmanned intelligent driving
Based on our cooperative instrument projects, our company can synchronously develop automotive ADAS intelligent driving assistance systems, which serve as a prerequisite for autonomous driving.
